News of mini-sized DSLR Canon turned out to be true. Camera EOS 100D is officially named the company introduced Thursday (3/21/2013) ago.

The camera is in the United States sold under the name "Rebel SL1 'is claimed to be the smallest and lightweight DSLR. Physical dimensions 117x91x69mm, and weighs 407 grams including the battery.
EOS 100D 25 percent smaller and 28 percent lighter than one of his predecessors, the EOS 650D, which was launched mid last year 2012.

In the same occasion, Canon also introduced the EOS 700D. The successor to the EOS 650D has similar specifications to its predecessor's, includes 18 megapixel sensor (ISO 100-12800), prosesr Digic 5, 3-inch swivel LCD touchscreen, 5 FPS burst rate, and 9-point AF all-cross-type.

EOS 700D will be available in April 2013 at a price of 750 U.S. dollars for a body-only version, 900 dollars for the version of the kit with lens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, and 1,100 U.S. dollars for a lens kit version EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.
